Quotation
Unless otherwise stated in writing a quote will be valid for a period of up to fourteen days from the date the quote was issued.
Quotes will be confirmed as a booking when the deposit has been received by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit (50% of total invoice) is required to secure a Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events Styling package. Until a deposit is received, no booking will be confirmed or held.
Payment
All payments are due as detailed in the Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events invoice to the customer. Payments should be made by way of bank transfer to Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events. Bank transfers made on the due date require proof of payment (remittance receipt) to be emailed to Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events. Failure to pay an invoice may result in cancellation of a booking and loss of deposit.
Changes and Cancellation
Any cancellation (if you are unable to reschedule) will result in a loss of deposit and if cancellation occurs less that 14 days prior to the event, full payment is forfeited.
Changes must occur no less than 30 days prior to the date of the event and must be approved by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
For styling packages only: In the case of bad weather, bookings in outdoor locations will not occur, a new covered location will be needed or reschedule of date. In the event, a new location or reschedule of date is not possible a refund will be given.
For DIY Hire packages: In the case of bad weather, no refund or date rescheduling is permitted. It is the responsibility of the customer to have a plan b location/option.
Loss or damage of items
- All items supplied to the customer are property of Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events
- Damage to or loss of items within the period of hire as detailed in the invoice will be reported by the customer to Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events immediately.
If the items are lost, the customer must pay to Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events the current replacement cost of the items;
If the items are damaged, the customer must pay for all repairs.
Cleaning
All hire items should be made ready by the customer for pack down and removal by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events at the agreed time.
Rubbish should be removed from surfaces and cleared from the venue or location by the customer.
Plates, glassware, and flatware should be left on the table to be packed away by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
Venue details and access
It is the responsibility of the customer;
to determine the suitability of the hire package for the event.
to seek necessary approval and or permits required for venues and locations.
to supply details regarding access to the venue including flights of stairs and locations not accessible by vehicle.
Extended Hire
Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events will deliver, assemble, pack down and remove items as agreed upon in the invoice to the customer. An extended hire surcharge will apply in the event that;
Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events is required to return at another time to collect items.
The customer seeks to hire items for a period longer than originally invoiced
Extended hire is approved by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
Cancellation Policy
At Boho By the Bayside Picnics & Events, we understand that plans can change. Our goal is to remain fair to our clients while protecting the time, planning, and resources invested in every event.
Booking Confirmation
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date. Your booking is confirmed once this deposit has been received.
Final payment is due no later than 14 days before your event. Failure to pay by this date may result in cancellation without refund.
Cancellations
More than 14 days’ notice:
If you cancel your booking more than 14 days before your event, your deposit will be held as a credit and can be applied toward another date within 6 months (subject to availability).
Within 14 days of your event:
Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled event date will result in no refund being issued. This is due to time, materials, and staffing already allocated to your booking.
Security Bond Retention:
In the event of a cancellation, Boho By the Bayside reserves the right to retain the Security Bond if the cancellation occurs within a reasonable timeframe and non-refundable expenses have been incurred (e.g., venue fees, supplier costs, or special orders).
If no costs have been committed on your behalf, your Security Bond may be refunded at our discretion.
Weather-Related Cancellations
Your safety and comfort are our top priority.
If severe weather (such as heavy rain, high winds, or unsafe conditions) affects your outdoor booking, you’ll be given the option to:
Move your event to a covered or indoor location (subject to availability), or
Reschedule your event to another available date within 6 months.
Refunds are not available for weather-related cancellations; however, we’ll always work with you to make sure your event still goes ahead beautifully.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule your event once at no charge if we are given more than 14 days’ notice.
Reschedule requests made within 14 days of your event will incur a small administration fee and are subject to date availability.
No Shows
Failure to attend or notify us of a cancellation will result in forfeiture of all payments and security bonds.

Security
The customer is responsible for the supervision and security of Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events items until such time that it is collected by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
In the event that items are stolen from the venue or location;
The customer agrees to cover the costs to replace items stolen under the supervision of the customer during the period of hire.
Safety
The customer is to ensure adequate safety measures are adopted when using items provided by Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events when necessary.
The customer agrees;
Not to move hire items once they have been assembled at the venue or location.
That if items are used incorrectly, they are used at the customer’s own risk.
Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained where the customer and or guests move or incorrectly use items against the recommendation or instruction of Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
Image Release We reserve the right to take photographs of our event setups and styling for social media purposes. We welcome photographs from you and reserve the right to use these in our promotional platforms. We will not photograph guests without their permission.
Interpretation
“Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events” means the business responsible for the hiring of items.

“The customer” means the person or persons business who will be hiring items and to whom the Tax Invoice is addressed.
“Items” means furniture, crockery, glassware, rugs, blankets, cushions, and associated accessories in packages hired by the customer from Boho By the Bayside Popup Picnics & Events.
